Katherine, I'm glad you got to be involved in leading the sessions! I'm glad your client was able to notice her own improvement and use that as fuel. I, too, am looking forward to our older adults class. The idea of working within that population has continually grown on me.
Katherine, I am so glad you were able to see this client improve so much during your time at inpatient rehab! I was in acute care, so hearing from you helps me to better understand the full circle the client goes through before going home. I am also looking forward to the older adult class! I hope we learn about lots of creative and motivating interventions!
Katherine, it sounds like you had an excellent experience at your fieldwork! I love that you got a chance to lead intervention sessions and write a SOAP note! You must have learned a lot from those experiences. I too am excited to learn and improve more during our last few classes! I especially want to improve with my documentation. I am sure our skills will evolve in the coming months and even more during Level II Fieldwork! Thank you for sharing! I look forward to hearing even more about it in July!
